A Jar full of Memories

Pin It I so heart this idea from Inchmark - It is a Jar full of memories.

How many times have your kids done something so darn cute or blurted out something hilariously funny and you think to yourself - "hmmm I am so locking that one away in my memories"?

If you are anything like me, you have the most wonderful intentions of locking those memories away, but my brain is just too damn full of STUFF, that the memories I want to keep seem to get lost in the mess up there.

This Memory Jar is such a brilliant idea. Every time your kids do something, say something or are a part of something that you want to remember in the future, write it down on a piece of paper and pop it in the jar for safe keeping.

If you are having a crappy day, you can visit your jar for a laugh. Or better still - when they turn 21, you have a whole collection of things to roast (oops surely I meant toast) your little darlings with.

I am now officially on the hunt for a fabulous jar to start my own Memories Jar.

Your comments mean so much to me and I love reading every single one. If I dont reply straight away, it is only because I am being distracted by a herd of rampaging hippos...namely my kids. xx
